PRIVACY
What SlabFlipper keeps, in plain language.
SlabFlipper has no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising or analytics trackers, and it doesn't set its own cookies.
Saved in your browser
To remember your settings between visits, SlabFlipper uses your browser's local storage on this device. That includes your cost and shipping preferences, search options, colour theme, your last search and its results, listings you chose to hide, and a list of listing IDs you've already seen so new ones can be marked. This stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Sent to our server
When you scan, your search words, search options and cost preferences are sent to our server so it can ask eBay's API for listings and work out prices and profit. We don't save your searches. Our app doesn't keep request logs, but our hosting providers (Render and Cloudflare) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.
To stop any one visitor from using up the site's limited eBay searches, the server briefly keeps your IP address and the times of your recent searches in memory, for up to 24 hours. This is never written to disk and is cleared whenever the server restarts.
Other services
Listing photos load directly from eBay's image servers. Card prices come from public TCGplayer data, which our server looks up for you.
Links to eBay are eBay Partner Network affiliate links. If you click one, eBay may use cookies or similar technology to credit the referral, as described in eBay's own privacy notice. I earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never change how deals are ranked.
